Festival international de piano de la Roque d'Anthéron

After 28 years of existance, the International Piano Festival of Roque-d'Anthéron is today recognized as one of the top events in the world of piano. The greatest players in the world come to play on the stage of Florans park, an open-air auditorium in a clearing where the music fills the air like fairy dust.

Each year, many other sites are also selected including the Silvacane Abbey, the Lourmarin temple, the churches of Cucuron and La Roque and the Aulnes Pond.2008 inaugurates its first concerts at Grand Théâtre de Provence at Ai-x-en-Provence and at Théâtre des Terrasses of Gordes.

The festival is also the occasion to discover young talent and widen one's repertoire to include jazz, contemporary music . Many recitals are proposed whith piano, pianoforte,harpsichord, organ, concerts whith orchestras, with choirs, chamber music will content all music lovers.
