17th Annual Sacred Art Festival of Antibes

The Sacred Art Festival of Antibes celebrates its 17th anniversary this year.
Under the direction of flutist Philippe Depetris, the festival is now recognized for its long-standing tradition of quality and organization, and is one of the most important festivals of its genre in the world.

The concerts are performed in the Antibes cathedral, beautifully situated amongst the fortifications of the old town center and next to the Picasso museum. Featuring a choir box made of cut stone from the 7th century which provides beautiful acoustics, the cathedral, offered to the city by Louis XV, is the perfect setting for such artistic and musical expression.

The festival is organized by the town of Antibes Juan-les-Pins, and supported by the Conseil Général des Alpes-Maritimes and the Conseil Régional Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur. This 17th edition will emphasize in particular choral groups through several concerts dedicated to this type of ensemble.
