La vie du festival


All of the concerts at the Festival of Colmar are performed in historic buildings in the heart of the old town, where the magic of the place enhances and intensifies the music.

These venues have modest capacities and allow the audiences to fully experience the music and benefit from a unique ambiance full of warmth and authenticity, close to the musicians.

During the two weeks of the festival, the heart of Colmar beats in rhythm with the festival. During strolls through the city center, you might come upon well-known soloists as well as orchestra musicians. Colmar has one of the largest pedestrian zones in Europe with thousands of architectural and historic treasures awaiting the visitor.
