Les très riches heures de l'orgue en Berry

In 1985, the Kern House offered a second youth to the Great Organ of the Bourges Cathedral, a gothic masterpiece, conserved as a world heritage site by UNESCO.

This prestigious instrument dating back to the 17th century, thus became the inspiration for the "Very Distinguished Organ Hours in Berry," now an international festival of the cathedral that welcomes the most accomplished organists in the world.

From mid-July to the end of August, 12 concerts unite international concert players, young artists, instruments and voices. Concert explanations and meetings with the musicians are an excellent way to learn more about this mysterious organ.
