The 70th STRASBOURG MUSIC FESTIVAL will take place in June 2008. Opening concert : Friday 6 June 2008. For the Puccini Year (150th anniversary of his birthday), the general theme of this edition will be the voice. Programme will be online mid-February. The 2nd INTERNATIONAL SINGING COMPETITION - Chairman of the Jury : BARBARA HENDRICKS - will take place from Tuesday 10 June to Saturday 14 June 2008. Application deadline : 1 March 2008.
