Autour du festival


In partnership with the Foundation for International Cultural Events in the Mountains (FACIM), the Festival of Tarentaise proposes tours and discoveries before each concert. This program is run by certified tour guides and offers the opportunity to look at the historical sites of the Savoy valley from another point of view.
 
To allow for the discovery or rediscovery of the baroque chuches, each concert is preceded by an introduction of the church and special lighting adapted for the space.

Wednesday, August 6th: The major works of the baroque period
 
Thursday, August 7th: On the road of the high passes: the cult of Saint-Bernard de Menthon
 
Friday, August 8th: On the merchants' road
 
Saturday, August 9th: The pain and words of the slope
 
Monday, August 11th: Forgotten history of the Combe de Savoie
